My name is Elizabeth (FKA Lizzy) and just last year I completed my final semester at the University of San Francisco. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a major in design and a minor in UX/UI.
As a designer, I like to explore motifs I find myself drawn to. These include daring graphics and colors, community engagement, activism and accessibility, history deep dives, and silly or childlike themes. I find that much of my work contains aspects of all of these topics, merging together in unexpected ways to create a unique, cohesive, and colorful final product.
In my time post-grad, I have been working with dogs, getting to walk them daily and practice training and socialization. I have been continuing to practice art and keep my design skills sharp outside of this job. In my future as a designer, I hope for the opportunity to try out and explore my options within the vast field of design. I am especially curious about UX/UI research and testing and product, packaging, brand, and exhibition design. Outside of graphic and web design, after a semester studying abroad in Copenhagen, I have grown a love for urban and landscape design, developing a specific fascination with parks and playgrounds. Everywhere I go, I study the urban programming and ruminate on the intention of each space and what the designer/planner had in mind. I’m excited to delve into this specific field and see where it takes me!
